Natural Alternatives to ADHD Drugs: Phosphatidylserine (PS)
Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a phospholipid that is a normal component of brain cells. A study in Alternative Medicine Review involved 21 cases of youths ages 4 to 19 with ADHD. Participants were given daily supplementation of PS at dosages between 200 and 300 mg daily for four months. Supplementation was found to benefit greater than 90 percent of cases.
